The 40 Hour Famine begins

I've been doing the 40 Hour Famine since I was a kid, to raise money for World Vision and their work with starving children in developing nations. When I was at school I would organise the other students, "encouraging" them to join up, and spending all my lunch breaks in the weeks before and after chasing up the money... Today it's just me, and my beautiful supportive husbee doing it, and while it seems to be a bit harder than I remember, it's such a wonderful cause. I'm also humbled by the generosity of the people who have sponsored me – every little bit counts!
